We are pleased to be able to support the important work of our village school as it serves our community’s children.
The Rector assists with Assemblies most weeks and is involved with occasional RE lessons.
We welcome the school to the church building to support its Religious Education and PHSE curricula as well as for special events like the Harvest Festival, the Act of Remembrance on Armistice Day and the Nativity Play at Christmas. For many years, the children have been providing wonderful pieces of artwork to decorate our church porch at key festival seasons; we are delighted to host these exhibitions.
Every year, we give a Bible to all the Year 6 school leavers.
