Our services are held at 9:30am on the first and third Sundays of the month. Variations are published on the calendar. When there is no service in Widford, we join in worship with Wareside Church (also at 9:30am). Everyone is very welcome.
We are currently using the order for Morning Prayer.
We have made every effort to ensure our building is Covid-secure, and we are confident that joining us for worship is virtually risk-free. Hand sanitiser is available, social distancing measures are in place and, in keeping with Government legislation, the congregation must wear facemasks and not sing. It’s not quite “normal” and we miss our social interaction over refreshments afterwards, but it is good to meet together in person when we can.
Online worship resources are still being published on the benefice website, here. These contain additional materials to those in our in-person gatherings and we commend them to you.
Prior to lockdown our service pattern included a service of Evening Prayer using the liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer (1662) at 6:30pm on the second Sunday of the month. As soon as we are able, we would like to restart this.
